Minutes of July 12, 2004 meeting
Members present: Mr. Tinnin, Mrs. Gillis
Staff Present: Matt Stine
1. Meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M.
2. Minutes from June meeting not approved since no quorum present.
3. City updates:
a. Volunteer tree planting on Saturday, July 24, 2004. Event to be
held at Bonita Park where native trees and shrubs will be planted.
b. New library updates.
c. New Public Works Director- Dennis Koellermeier
d. Fanno Creek Park
i. Updates on ongoing OWEB grant project.
ii. Updates on possible mitigation plantings in the park by Tri-
Met as a result of the commuter rail project.
e. Community Planning Department updates.
4. Heritage Tree Program discussion. Board members to approve at August
9, 2004 meeting.
5. Chapter 18 of Tigard Municipal Code discussion.
6. Set agenda for next meeting:
a. Minutes
b. City updates- Matt Stine
c. Heritage Trees
d. Chapter 18 discussion
e. New/old business
