Chair Trinh led the centering exercise.
Facilitator Marshall called on to take roll.

Chief Kathy McAlpine started this agenda item. She walked through public safety related bills passed
in the last session of the Oregon legislature.

Representative Dacia Graber joined the meeting and gave her knowledge on bills passed. She
expanded on HB 2513 which she sponsored.

HB 2936 Law Enforcement Officer Speech and Hiring Tools

6:45-6:55 Opportunity to Discuss Current Events and How They Impact the Tigard Community
Board member Brown opened discussion on Force Response data that was sent out to the Board.
Members requested additional context and information on the data.
Members requested aggregated data by a person's housing situation.
Members sought clarification on mental health related reporting.
The data in discussion is pulled from Tigard Police Department's annual report.
Board member Low acknowledged that Board member Mohamoud left for Howard University and
wanted to extend his congratulations.
