RESOLUTION NO. 21- a 3
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MARY BOGERT AND CANDICE COLEMAN TO THE
TIGARD LIBRARY BOARD FOR A TERM OF FOUR YEARS, AND APPOINTING ELANA
KNEPPRATH TO THE TIGARD LIBRARY BOARD FOR THE TERM OF THREE YEARS,AND
APPOINTING ALAN SMITH AS AN ALTERNATE FOR A TWO YEAR TERM.
WHEREAS,a position for three Members and one Alternate for the Tigard Library Board are open;and
WHEREAS,Mary Bogert,Candice Coleman,Elena Knepprath,and Alan Smith were interviewed by the
Mayor's Appointment Advisory Committee on Wednesday,June 2,2021.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: Mary Bogert and Candice Coleman are hereby appointed to the Tigard Library Board as
a Member for a four-year term,effective July 1,2021 through June 30,2025;and
SECTION 2: Elena Knepprath is hereby appointed to the Tigard Library Board as a Member for a
three-year term,effective July 1,2021 through June 30,2024;and
SECTION 5: Alan Smith is hereby appointed to the Tigard Library Board as an Alternate for a two-
year term effective July 1,2021 through June 30,2023;and
SECTION 6: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
PASSED: This 22nd day of June 2021.
