First Avenue, Suite 300 City of Tigard Hillsboro, Oregon 97124 Administration Dear Commissioner Brian: On December 15, 2004, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) approved the Washington County Natural Hazards Mitigation Action Plan as a local plan as outlined in 44 CFR Part 201. With approval of this plan, the following entities are now eligible to apply for the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act's hazard mitigation project grants through December 15, 2009: Washington County City of Tigard The list of approved jurisdictions has been updated to include the City of Tigard, which has recently adopted the City of Tigard Addendum to the Washington County Natural Hazards Mitigation Action Plan. To continue eligibility the plan must be reviewed, revised as appropriate, and resubmitted within five years of the original approval date.
