RESOLUTION NO. 21-01
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING "A NEW TIGARD TRIANGLE: PLANNING FOR
EQUITABLE DEVELOPMENT" AS AN IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY FOR THE
TIGARD TRIANGLE URBAN RENEWAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Tigard was awarded a Metro 2040 Planning and Development Grant to
complete a Tigard Triangle equitable implementation project;and
WHEREAS, the Town Center Development Agency completed the project titled "A New Tigard
Triangle: Planning for Equitable Development"in November 2020 after substantial public
engagement; and
WHEREAS, "A New Tigard Triangle: Planning for Equitable Development" consists of an
Equitable Urban Renewal Implementation Strategy,with recommended priority projects,a financial
plan, and infrastructure concepts and recommended programs; and
WHEREAS, the Town Center Advisory Commission has endorsed the Equitable Urban Renewal
Implementation Strategy and reviewed the infrastructure concepts and recommended programs.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED, by the Tigard Town Center Development Agency that:
SECTION 1: The Board of the Town Center Development Agency accepts "A New
Tigard Triangle: Planning for Equitable Development as a guide for
implementation of the Tigard Triangle Urban Renewal Plan,including
projects to be included in future TCDA and CIP budgets.
SECTION 2: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.
