BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
RESOLUTION NO. 9-92
A RESOLUTION TO ENCOURAGE THE TUALATIN VALLEY FIRE & RESCUE TO
MAKE THE BUILDING AND PROPERTY AT 8845 S.W. COMMERCIAL STREET
AVAILABLE FOR COMMUNITY USE
On the motion made by Commissioner Jon Kvistad, and seconded by
Commissioner Robert Wyffels, and passed by affirmative action of the
Board of Commissioners, on this 17th day of June, 1992, Tigard Water
District adopts the following resolution:
Whereas the Board governing the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue has
authorized that the property at 8845 SW Commercial Street be sold;
Whereas the current building houses a community hall with the
address of 12495 SW Ash St., and the planned Fire District building does
not include a community hall or rooms for community use,
Therefore, be it resolved that the Board of Commissioners of the
Tigard Water District strongly encourage and prefer that the property at
8845 SW Commercial Street be made available for general community use.
