Tree#1 Red oak dbh 24"-3/10th, the live crown ratio(LCR)35%, height is 55',crown spread is 45' overall health is in severe decline. Pavement over the roots is 75%of the drip line, this tree was planted in a tree island in the parking lot, with minimal root space growth. This trees root system is causing infrastructure damage to asphalt and curbing. There was recently within (5)years a French drain that was installed within 5-8'of the root flair, root damage may have occurred to this tree,as we are seeing numerous amounts of deadwood and tops breaking out and dying within the canopy. Tip and top die back are a sign of root damage and or root rot, which doing my Level 2 assessment of this tree, I did not see any fruiting bodies at the base or in the root plate area. This area must be very saturated to have the French drain installed. Targets that are involved are moving vehicles under the dripline, parked vehicles and people. This area is in constant use. Tree#2 Red oak dbh 19"- 1/10th, the live crown ratio(LCR) 20-25%, height is 50',crown spread is 45' overall health of this tree is in severe decline. Pavement and sidewalk over the roots are 70-75%of the drip line, this'ree was planted in a tree island in the parking lot, with minimal root space to thrive, which has contributed to the damage to the root system. The largest lower later limb (scaffold limb) has a large longitudinal branch crack that over hangs the parking lot spaces as well as the road. The tree is very sparse and has multiple previous branch failures. Top and tip dieback are a sign of root damage and or root rot, which doing my Level 2 assessment of this tree, I did not see any fruiting bodies at the base or in the root plate area. This area is in constant use. Tree#3 Red Oak dbh 27"-7/10th,the live crown ratio(LCR)55%,height is 50',crown spread is 45' overall health of this tree is severe due to the root rot that is visible from my Level 2 assessment. Pavement and sidewalk over the roots are 30%of the drip line. This tree has root rot at the root collar of the tree (see pictures),this is a sign that decay is heavily present in this tree, removal is highly recommended here for the safety of the tenants, the building, vehicles, and pedestrians. This trees root system is causing infrastructure damage by lifting the sidewalk, creating a tripping hazard/liability. Targets involved due to the entire tree failure, vehicles, structures, pedestrians and tenants. This area is in constant use. 1800 NE Cornelius Pass Road, Hillsboro, OR 97124 Phone: (503)486-5154 MONARCH Jeremy(Beau) Saucedo ISA Certified Arborist PN-6893-A 11/11/2020 Monarch Tree Service Mitigation will be tree for tree on site, 1.5" caliper Red sunset maple.
