February 12, 1087 — Minutes
1 . Members Present; Joe Schweitz, Tom Sullivan, David Funk, Councilor John
Schwartz, Bonnie Owens—arrived at 8 PM.
Staff & Others Present: Geraldine Ball' Randy Wooley
2. Randy Wooley presented a proposed revision of the Council resolution
creating the Transportation Advisory Committee. Discussion followed
concerning the limiting of the scope and purpose of the Committee.
David Funk suggested that a City Councilor be included as a member of the
Committee, as the Mayor designee. It was also suggested that a member of
the Chamber of Commerce, the trucking industry and perhaps the handicapped
community be on the committee.
Tom Sullivan moved that the City Engineer and a member of the City Cuunoil
be included as ex officio, non—voting members of the committee.
Passed with Bonnie Owens abstaining,
Tom Sullivan moved that Section 5 be revised to read that the
Transportation Committee shall meet monthly' and may be cancelled by the
Chairperson or the City Engineer.
Passed unanimously .
2. Randy presented the projects he proposes for the new CIP program for the
next 18 months .
Discussion on 72nd & OyW, and shoulders on North Dakota.
