Special Meeting
Thursday, May 24, 1990
1. Call to order at 7:01 p.m.
2. Members present: Schweitz, Castile, Dusevoir, Etzel, Holland, Riewald,
Waterman, and Newcomb.
Others present: Randy Wooley and Liz Newton.
3. Approved minutes of April 12, 1990 meeting.
4. Discussion of railroad crossing on Boones Ferry Road. Railroad and
PadItust have tentatively agreed to share cost of improvements to crossing
if the City funds $10,000 of project.
5. Randy Wooley reviewed CIP projects. More money is available for projects.
Motion from R. Holland to reconmend CIP funds be distributed as follows:
- Hwy 99W at 72nd intersection - phase I.
- Bonita Road at 72nd - traffic signal.
- Durham Road at 92nd - traffic signal.
- Upper Boones Ferry Road - railroad crossing improvement.
- Remainder of funds to Major Pavement Maintenance.
Motion seconded by Castile.
Motion approved by 7-1 majority vote. Dusevoir voting nay, objecting to
funding of traffic signal at Bonita Road and 72nd.
