Plumbing permit PLM2018-00270 is for the demolition and removal of the modernization project plumbing fixtures, and this permit was originally meant to be issued in conjunction with the superstructure interior plumbing permit PLM2018- 00331, considering the sewer credits from the demolition of fixtures needed to be applied to the superstructure interior plumbing sewer fees. However, the sewer fees were paid in full under sewer permit SWR2018-00215 in order to issue the interior plumbing permit, but the credits were never applied to this permit since the plumbing demolition permit was not paid or issued. Each of these plumbing permits are more than one year old, and they are normally considered to be expired at this point. Since these permits are related to the modernization project, we will not expire them; however, both of these permits need to be paid for and picked up immediately. The plumbing demolition permit has a balance due of $3,196.36, and this balance will need to be paid before we can issue this permit. Once this permit is issued, you will need to pass the miscellaneous and final inspections before we can apply$139,205.00 of credits to the interior plumbing sewer fees that have already been paid. Please note that we will also be issuing a refund to you when the credits are applied, and this process will take approximately(4) weeks to receive the refund of$139,205.00 in the form of a check. Lastly, a licensed plumbing contractor is required to complete the demolition work according to our Senior Plumbing Inspector, Don Sylvester. LCG Pence was listed as the contractor to complete the demolition work; however, they do not possess a plumbing license. If this work has already been completed, a licensed plumbing contractor will need to assume responsibility for the work. Please let me know if you have questions.
