The plans for the alteration of the space formerly occupied by the "Just
Leather" Shop to accommodate T-Shirts Plus have 'peen examined with -eference
to current fire regulations. As a result, we are listing as follows re-
quirements which must hr observer, during the course of the remodeling
project and for which we found ro provisions in the plans.
1 . In all new wood-framed walls and partitions, fire-
stopping consisting of 2-inch (nominal ) lumber,
gypsum plasterboard or equivalent material is
required at the ceiling line. Penetrations made
in this firestopping to accommodate wiri.,g, pluubir;g,
duct work, etc. , must he packed, following the instal-
lation of the utility runs in question, to maintain
the integrity of the firestopping and cut off all
concealed draft openings which could afford a passage
for flame into the attic space.

2. The finish hardware for the rear exit door must be
openable from the inside at all times for immediate
exit without the use of a key, special knowledge or
effort.
