The r,'ar; for the alterations proposed for this o-:cupancy have been examined
with referencto currently applicable fire safety regulations. Listed as
follows are those requirements which must be ohserved during the course of
construction and for which we fours : no provisions in the submitted drawings.
1 . The automatic sprinkler system must be altered to accommodate
all newly developed areas, ceiling installations, etc. That
is, full automatic sprinkler coverage is required.
2. The rear way of exit from the sales area must be well in-
dicated by means of an exit sign having letters not less
than 6 inches in height with principle strokes being not
less than 3/4-inch wide.
3. Inspection and approval of construction by this office is
required:
a) prior to cover of any new framing.
b) upon completion of the sprinkler layout prior to
ceiling installation.
c) upon completion of construction.
4. One set of api,roved plans bearing the stamps of the Washing-
ton County Building Department and this office must be
maintained on the project site throughout all phases of
construction and must be made available to building and
fire inspectors for reference durin; required construction
inspections.

5. Upon completion of construction a Certifi..ate of Occupancy
or other written instrument of acceptance must be obtained
from the Wa,hington County BuildEng Department.
Subject to the foregoing stipulations the plans under discussion are hereby
approved. If you have any questions regarding the requirements listed herein
or if this office can be of service in any other way, please let us know.
