Site Description The lot fronts on S.W. Washington Street between 95th and 97th Avenues. The property has 95' frontage and is 99' in depth. The front 30' to 40' is level and then slopes steeply (80%) to a tributary of Cedar Mill Creek at the rear of the property. Surface drainage is good. • • Ge•alogy • The volcanic bedrock is exposed in the bed of the stream. The native soil cover is relatively thin and is composed of rilt to sandy silt (ML Unified Classification) . A non-engineered fill of ta`' i«ble thickness overlies the native soil . Recommendations The site is suitable for a single family dwelling as planned. -'J The fill on the site is not suitable for a foundation: there- fore, after regrading the property, the foundation should be placed upon piers drilled to native soil or be placed upon piling.
