The plans for the alteration to the space formerly occupied by Magnavox to
accommodate the new tenant as noted above have been examined with reference
to currently applicable fire safety regulations. We find the plans ro be
acceptable as submitted.
Inspection and approval of construction by this office is required: a) prior
to cover of any new framing following the installation of all utility runs
which will concealed; b) upon completion of all remodeling work and prir
to opening this tenant space for business.
Also, prior to the opening of this tenant space for busin?ss, a Certificate
of Occupancy or other written authorisation must be obtained from the Wash-

of the drawings, general notes and'or specifications.
1 . In all wood franc(' walls and partitions, fire stopping consisting of 2" (nominal)
lumber is required at floor and ceiling lines end n.therwiee at maximum vertical
end horizontal intervals of 10 feet. Penetrations rade in this required fire
stopping to accommodate wiring, plumbing, duct work or similar utility runs as t
be pecked, following the installation thereof, in a manner which will effectively
maintain the integrity of the fire stopping and cut off n11 concealed draft
openings.
