construction or work for which a permit is required shall be subject to
inspection by the Building Official ." Tne responsibility to call for
inspections rests with the app,icant. :.tion 305(B). "It shall be the duty
of the person doing the work authorized by a permit to notify the Building
Official that such work is ready for inspection It shall be the duty of
the person requesting any inspections required by this Code to provide access
to and means for proper inspection of such work."
t The St, uctural Specialty Code, Section 303(D), deals with the expiration of
building permits: "Every building permit issued by the Building Official
under the provisions of this Code shall expire by limitation and become null
and void if the building or work authorized by such permit is not commenced
within 180 days from the date of such permit, or if the building or work
authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work
has commenced for a period of 180 days."
The above-referenced permit has not had an inspection request for in excess of
twelve months and is presumed to he inactive and the permit void.

3. Inspection and approval of construction by a representative J
of this office is required:
a) prior to cover of the structural framing following the
installation of the utility runs and fire stopping
prescribed in item no. 2.

4. One set of approved plans bearing the stamps of the Wash-
ington County Building Department and this office must be
maintained at toe project site throughout all phases of
construction and must he made available to building and
fire inspectors for reference during prescribed con-
strur-tion inspections.
(ref: Sec. 302 S.B.C.)
5. Prior to the occupancy of this tenant space, a Certificate
of Occupancy must be obtained from the Washington County
Building Department.
(ref: Sec. 306 .S.B.C. ) •
Following each of the foregoing listed requirements, a reference rote has
been provided. This reference note indicates the code and section thereof
in which the requirement is contained. D.F.C. refers to the Fire Code
of this District while S.B.C. refers ti the State Building Code.
