Hello Roger,
We have completed the recalculation of the sanitary sewer SDC fees for this project and I have attached both the
original and the revised copies of the sewer tally sheets.
The recalculation resulted in a reduction of a total of(14) plumbing fixtures: (3) dishwashers, (2) ice machines and (9)
food-related sinks that all drain into one of the new 3"floor sinks. Per Clean Water Services, if a plumbing fixture drains
into a floor sink,we are to count just one fixture, at the higher fixture value rate. All of the (14)fixtures have a lesser
value than the floor sinks, so we used the floor sink value and did not reduce the original total number of(42) floor sinks
(see tally sheet for value for each fixture).
Here is a breakdown of the SDC and fees:
• Original Fee: 21.88 EDUs at$5,650.00= $123,622.00
• New Fee: 19.31 EDUs at$5,650.00= $109,101.50
• Difference to be refunded: $14,520.50
Please provide the business name and mailing address for David Wasielewski so that we may process this refund and
allow 1-2 weeks for the refund check to be mailed.

Don and I discussed this issue further, and I had a conversation with Clean Water Services, so it looks like we need to
review the plumbing plans and determine which fixtures drain into a floor sink as a "system" and charge the higher
fixture value of the two according to Dale Bertleson at CWS.
It would be good to meet tomorrow morning before Don goes out in the field to get this taken care of as Don will not be
able to attend the meeting on Wednesday.

Hi Mark,
Roger Ott,Washington Square Operations Manager, would like to meet with us on Wednesday,August 15th at 3:00 pm
to review the interior plumbing permit plans and resulting sanitary sewer SDCs. A representative from Din Tai Fung
restaurant will also be attending the meeting.
The interior plumbing plans have resulted in an increase of 21.88 EDUs, at a cost of$123,622.00. They would like to get
an explanation for the charges and possibly what they could change to reduce this amount. I provided Roger with the
sewer tally worksheet and he reviewed the plumbing application to see how many additional fixtures this restaurant
added and the size of the fixtures.
I have scheduled the meeting in CR#3 and will send out a meeting invite to you, Don, Branden and Jill.
