Resolution No. 19-11 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON TIGARD CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 19- 1 J A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITYWIDE MASTER FEES AND CHARGES SCHEDULE RELATED TO PARK AND RECREATION FEE WHICH WAS ADOPTED UNDER RESOLUTION NO 18-33. WHEREAS,the City of Tigard has a Master Fees and Charges Schedule that was adopted during the fiscal year 2018-2019 budget hearings as Resolution 18-33;and WHEREAS,at the February 5,2019 meeting, City Council directed staff to increase recreation services and pay for the services with an increase in the park and recreation fee by$0.52 per equivalent dwelling unit. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that: SECTION 1: The Parks and Recreation Fee section of the Master Fees and Charges for the City of Tigard are amended and set as shown in the attached schedule (Exhibit A). SECTION 2: This resolution is effective immediately upon passage. The reduction will last for 12 billing cycles after which the fee reduction will end or the responsible party can reapply To Qualify for the reduction,the responsible party: 1 Must be the individual(s) on the utility bill 2 Provide documented proof of income such as most recent tax statement or W-2. 3 Have an income at,or below,50%of the Median Income for Oregon as set by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development(HUD).
