For this location, the following design parameters apply: Seismic: Zone D Soil Bearing Pressure: 1500 PSF Design Summary: The following calculations are for the ground mounted generator and propane tank located at Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Station 51 in Tigard, OR. The generator and tank will be attached to new concrete footings near the exiting roll up doors. For this specific project, lateral calculations were completed to determine base shear and overturning forces and gravity calculations were completed to properly size the footings. The techniques and principles of structural analysis used for these calculations conform to generally accepted standards of the engineering community. These design calculations have been prepared based upon manufacturer specification sheets and a proposed site plan.
