TYPE OF OBSERVATION:
Building 2 Subgrade
GeoPacific Engineer, Jim Imbrie on site to observe a portion of Building 2 subgrade that has not been excavated to
grade. The cement treated fill was very stiff and the native soils were stiff and are considered suitable for building
support to an allowable bearing pressure of 2,000 psf, however,we recommended deepening of the west wall by 18
inches to achieve a proper footing to slope setback and embedment.
