RE Delay of construction of customer service area, MMD2017-00041, BUP2018-00208.
Dear Mr. Ain:
This confirms our discussion today about your construction plans for the canopy structure
approved under MMD2017-00041to be located behind your business, Mr. Hookah, at 13075 SW
Pacific Hwy., Tigard, 97223. Specifically,this confirms that you have decided to not configure
approximately 600 square feet of the structure as a cover for a customer service and play area at
this time. Instead, you will dedicate all 2520 square feet of the structure to covered parking for
your patrons for now with the expectation that you will, at some later date, convert part of the
area under the structure to a customer service and play area and you will,at that time,take out a
building permit for any alterations that are necessary and will pay the amount of the Washington
County Transportation Tax that will be due on the customer service area. At this time,the
amount of that tax is $6,970.00 based on the customer service area being approximately 600
square feet in size.
Please let me know when you are prepared to convert part of the canopy structure to a customer
service area.
