Attached is some additional information on the engineering that was completed by TM Rippey for the new equipment that may be helpful. Project Description: The project consist of removing the existing eleven (11) split system heat pumps and fan coils that currently serve this two story building and replace with one (1)VRV Heat Recovery system. The existing 11 heat pump units are currently installed on the roof with the fan coils being installed above the t- bar ceiling or below in the crawl space. The existing roof curbs that the heat pumps sit on will be removed by us and re-roofed by others under a separate contract. The new VRV outdoor unit will be a heat pump type with variable refrigerant flow zoning fan coil system capable of simultaneous cooling and heating as needed for each zone. The one (1) outdoor VRV heat pump unit will be located on the roof and mounted on a roof curb. The seventeen (17) indoor fan coils will be installed above the existing t-bar ceiling on the first and second floors and one within the crawl space. Outside air and heat recovery process will be provided by two (2) roof top heat recovery units mounted on a roof curb and ducted accordingly. There is going to be one standalone ductless split system to serve the existing electrical room. The VRV heat pump and fan coil unit information is in the packet with a cover page titled Section 23 78 00 VRV Equipment. The heat recovery unit information was in the packet with the cover page titled Section 23 74 00 Central Station HVAC Unit. The standalone ductless system information is in packet with a cover page titled Section 23 80 00 Terminal HVAC Equipment. These titles reflect the Engineers specification sections. All of this unit information was included with the plans delivered this morning. There is one (1) electric residential style 50 gallon water heater(see attached)that will get replaced and we figured this would fall under the state or Oregon minor label permit process. There is an electrical aspect to this project and Portland Electrical Construction Inc will be submitting for this permitted work. Scott Miller at MFIA Inc is the Engineer of record for this project. Let me know if there is any additional information needed for this and if necessary, we could schedule meeting to review this project in person at your office. Thanks again for your time and assistance with this project. Chad Roofener C..1.Hansen Co.,Inc. P. O.
