The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC)
1998 edition; and the Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue Ordinance 99 -01 (TVFR99 -01) 1999
edition. The submitted plans are approved subject to the following conditions.
1. No alcohol is to be served. If alcohol is served an automatic sprinkler system shall be
provided. 904.2.3.1 OSSC
2. Exit signs shall be illuminated at all times and shall be provided with a second source
of power that will provide 1 1/2 hours of illumination in case of primary power loss.

3. The means of egress shall be provided with illumination of not less than 1 foot candle
at the floor level anytime the building is occupied. The means of egress illumination
shall be provided with a second source of power in case of primary power loss.

4. Provide 2 -A rated fire extinguisher in the new area. The extinguishers shall be located
so that no usable space has a distance greater than 75 feet to an extinguisher. Standard
10 -1, Chapter 3 TVFR99 -01.
FYI Walk -in Cooler and Freezer panels shall bear a State of Oregon label.
FYI Deferred submittals such as Fire Suppression, Fire Sprinkler, etc, will be charged a
deferred submittal fee based on the valuation of the portion of the work being •
deferred. The minimum fee shall be $200.00.

American with Disabilities Act (ADA): It shall be the responsibility of the Architect;
Engineer, Designer, Contractor, Owner and Lessee to research the applicability of the ADA
requirements for the structure. The City of Tigard reviews the plans and inspects the structure
only for compliance with Chapter 11 of the OSSC which may not include all of the
requirements of the ADA.
Approved Plans: 1 set of approved plans, bearing the City of Tigard approval stamp, shall
be maintained on the jobsite. The plans shall be available.to the Building Division inspectors
throughout all phases of construction. 106.4.2 OSSC
Certificate of Occupancy: No building or structure shall be used or occupied until the
Building Official has issued a certificate of occupancy 109.1 OSSC

Premises Identification: Approved numbers or addresses shall be provided for all new
buildings in such a position as to be plainly visible and legible from the street or road
fronting the property.

The plan review was performed under the State of Oregon Structural Specialty Code (OSSC)
1998 edition. The following information is required prior to the approval of the deferred
drawings.
1. Provide approval from State of Oregon, Building Codes Division for
AMERIKOOLER panels. Contact the Prefabricated Structures Division at 503-378 -
4133 for any questions on obtaining approval.
2. Provide a product that has been designed in accordance with the OSSC. Plan indicates
Standard Building Code (SBC)
3. The Roof Live Load indicated in note lc is not accurate. 25 lbs /sq ft should be used
for Live Load design criteria. /A) c. (_ 0 6 S /up w , J) k /
4. Note 10 indicates 2500 psf. The maximum soil bearing capacity without a soils report
in the City of Tigard is 1500 lbs /sq ft. Provide a soils report for increased soil bearing
pressure.
5. The documents submitted do not reflect the site specific conditions. Provide site
specific drawings and calculations for the structure.
6. Provide documentation for the span capacities of the roof panels.
7. A roofing membrane has been installed over the structure at the site? Clarify Roof
panel compliance with chapter 15 OSSC for slope, weather resistance and drainage.
8. The foundation was poured without inspection and does not match the original
drawings. Provide revised drawings and calculations for the foundation system as
installed.
