Gentlemen:
This is a Fire and Life Safety Plan Review and is based on the 3.985 editions
of the Fire and Life Safety Code (UBC) , Mechanical Fire and Life Safety Code
(UMC), uniform Fire Code (UFC) , and other local ordinances and regulations.
Plans are approved as submitted subject to the followi-ig items:
1. Exit Door Hardware: All doors shown on the drawings muse be
openable from the inside for immediate exit at all times without
the use of a key, special knowledge, or effort. UBC Sec. 3304
2. Automatic Sprinkler Plans: Plans referred to and examined by this
office contain no provisions for the alteration or installation of
automatic sprinkler system. Not less than three sets of plans for
the installation shall be submitted to this office for approval
prior to installation. UBC 302(b)
3. Inspectinns Required: Inspection and approval of construction by
a representative of this office is required: (a) prior to the
cover of any new framing elements following the installation of
all utility runs which will. be concealed within wall and partition
cavities; (b) upon completion of construction and prior to
occupancy of the tenant. space. UBC Sec. 305
4. Required Occupancy Certificate: Prior to the use and occupancy of

instrument of approval must be obtained from the building
