METAL FLASHING ON TOP OF THE WINDOW. ALL METAL AND SAME PRODUCTS TO BE PROPERLY INTEGRATED INTO THE EXISTING/NEW WEATHER RESISTIVE BARRIER (WRB). To BE CONSISTENT WITH THE EXISTING ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN OF THE PROPERTY, SIDING WILL BE BUTTED UP TO THE WINDOWS AND A FILLET STYLE SEALANT JOINT WILL BE INSTALLED. THIS TYPE OF SEALANT TREATMENT IS NOT INDUSTRY STANDARD AND IS PRONE TO FAILURE. WINDOWS NOT FULLY EXPOSED BECAUSE EXISTING SIDING IS SCHEDULED TO REMAIN IN PLACE MAY NOT BE FULLY TREATED. • AT AREAS WHERE WALLS ARE FULLY EXPOSED DURING SIDING REMOVAL, THE EXISTING WRB WILL BE REPLACED WITH NEW TYVEK DRAINWRAP WRB. AT LOCATIONS WHERE NOT ALL OF THE SIDING IS BEING REPLACED, NEW WRB WILL BE PROPERLY INTEGRATED WITH THE EXISTING. WE ARE ASSUMING THE EXISTING WRB IS IN ADEQUATE CONDITION FOR THIS MEANS OF INTEGRATION. • AT LOCATIONS WHERE SIDING IS BEING REPLACED ON BOTH SIDES OF AN OUTSIDE CORNER,THE EXISTING WOOD TRIM WILL BE REPLACED WITH FIBER CEMENT TRIM.
