If possible, I would recommend conditioning the removal on the regular maintenance of the parcel which should include removal of non-native weeds including blackberry and English ivy.The removal of the three trees will increase light exposure to the understory which will increase growth of weeds which could potentially smother the replacement trees if not properly managed.
