FR-163 Deflection in roadway
Subgrade
Upon my arrival I was directed to observe building subgrade for lots 201-207. I observed the subgrade for lots 205,
206 and 207 consist of brown silt while I observed the subgrade of lots 201, 202, 203 and 204 consist of brown
subgrade with a 1-2"top layer of%"-0 crushed rock. I used a%Z"foundation probe to test the relative density of the
subgrade. Upon probing the subgrade appeared to be stiff(1-3"of penetration).
Based on observations and probing it is our opinion that the subgrade observed today has been prepared in general
accordance with our geotechnical recommendations.
