Item # (Time) AGENDA Items with Meeting Notes
# 1 (5:00) Welcome and Introductions
We have 3 visitors (Donny, Alan, Joe) who have all applied for the PBS, and are
testing it out. Jessica runs the farmers market, and is visiting to discuss the
Bike-to-Market event. Anthony came to discuss Tour de Parks.
# 2 (5:08) Review and Approve November 2016 Meeting Notes
Minutes were accepted.
NOTE: PBS is not required to approve its notes/minutes.
# 3 (5:09) Member and Guest Communications/Announcements
Jen — has applied for a grant to get covered bike racks at Mary Woodward
School.
#4 (5:30) Bike to Market
Jen and Jessica are working together on Bike to Market. People will leave
from different locations to meet at market. Joe Vasicek will determine routes.
Market opens April 23rd. Thinking June 4th or 11th for event. Numerous
conflicts on the 11th, so the 4th looks best. Valet parking, Western Bikeworks
can do tune-ups.
Tour de Parks
Wash Co BTC has decided not to do Tour de Parks this year. Steve Boughton
was sick but discussed it with us by phone. We need to do route, advertising,
Certificate of Insurance, communicate with Street Fair. There was no
discussion with the city to renew the grant. However, Western Bikeworks
provided sponsorship last year; probably would again. Anthony suggested
Sunday. Marketing can be done through the city. Volunteers were gathered
through Linda Shaw; they had special T-shirts. No T-shirts for participants.
