Our standard foundation detail calls out for a"Simpson BC4"to be placed at the top of posts
within the post and beam foundation whenever the post exceeds 4'-0" in height. An
alternate solution of installing double gusset plates at these same locations is also
acceptable. This can be used on all Suntel plans.
