A. The following uses and activities shall be exempt from these regulations:
1. Existing towers and antennas and any repair, reconstruction or maintenance of these
facilities which do not create a significant change in visual impact;
2. Ham radio towers,citizen band transmitters and antennas;
3. Microwave dishes;
4. Antennas and equipment and other apparatus completely located within an existing structure
whose purpose is to enhance or facilitate communication function of other structures on the
site.

Hello,
I have previously been in discussions with the Planning Department regarding whether
Verizon's proposed antenna changes are exempt from land use. Verizon is proposing to
replace six (6) antennas with six(6)new antennas, as well as add some ancillary equipment
on the existing self support tower. The tower height will not be increased and there will be
no ground work associated with this project. The proposed changes will not be visually
significant.
I would like to confirm that the modification is exempt from land use under section
