Pulled meter cap to find pressure TOSS 991.40 reducing valve (P.R.V.) cracked along the bottom and along the top of the brass union connecting it to the actual meter. Further Inspection shows tree roots completely filling the 0 0.00 bottom of the meter, with one large root in particular pushing up against the bottom of the SALES 0.00 P.R.V., causing the breaks. Turned of water and removed meter, and cut away the broken Tax: P.R.V. and tree roots in meter box. Side Concrete casing and lid of meter box crushed and broken in many places due to growing roots. Installed new Watts la P.R.V., using Wirsbo pipe and fittings to connect to the existing Wirsbo water main. Set pressure to 65 P.S.I., TOTAL: 991.40 and purged fixtures in home of air(due to water being shut off). Also installed new concrete meter box, and reset the surrounding landscaping. No further discernable issues.
