Outstanding Issues: Proof roll road and curb base rock and repair as needed before paving

Lots 143& 144
I observed that onsite earthwork crew had prepared of footing subgrade for model homes within lots 143& 144. I
observed the subgrade to consist generally of structural fill material with areas of exposed basalt.Using a A"
diameter steel foundation rod I probed the footing subgrade for the building within these lots. Probing indicated
stiff subgrade(Probing basalt I hit immediate refusal). I was informed there will be not footing base rock. I observed
that lot 143 footing subgrade mostly consist of uneven cut basalt. Recommended crushed rock could be placed as a leveling
pad, over the uneven basalt.
Based on our observations, testing, and probing, areas of observed subgrade, indicated on attached site plan have
been prepared in general accordance with our geotechnical recommendations.
