NPO 3- Minutes from meeting on February 17, 1982
1. Liz Newton spoke concerning the Bechtold annexation.
She stated that it was submitted to the Boundary
Commission. Ms. Newton also discussed the processes in-
volved in the annexation procedure. Forms concerning
the Bechtold annexation were passed out to members of NPO 3.
A member raised a question concerning the accuracy of
item (G) on Form #6. Ms. Newton said this would be
corrected by the Boundary Commision.
2. Discussion of the Comprehensive Street Plan was postponed
until next week so others would have a chance to read it.
3. Bob Jean gave a general talk on the philosophy behind land
use planning in Oregon and how this affects the future
of Tigard.
4. The City Council's decision concerning the size
and make-up of NPO organizations was discussed. An NPO
can have 7-12 members with at least 50% of the members
from inside the city.
5. The meeting was adjourned and the next meeting scheduled
for March 17.
