Residence of Bonnie Owens

Joseph Meats and Phillip Mullard
Absent : JoAnn Grund, Yvonne Larson , William Richey,

The recently proposed Wedgewood development for 135th
and Walnut was reviewed for those members who were not
familiar with it . The general thinking was that the
location of the attached units and the multiplex units
within the development would not significantly change
the traffic on Walnut . The majority expressed agreement
that Walnut and 135th are not adequate for the traffic
now. Some members pointed out that the improvements
along Walnut and 135th as developments are completed
will help somewhat . All agreed that bottlenecks along
Walnut will still exist unless a complete widening and
improvement of Walnut west of 121st is made .
The members requested a copy of the traffic study be
sent to them when completed which each can study and
meet again before meeting with Dick Bolen . Some members
stated that any change of decisions regarding NPO #7
could not be made until we have had a chance to study
the traffic report.
Further information requested by the members - An
update of the density for NPO #7, to include :
a) Overall density
b) Density of multiplex, 'attached and
apartments
c) Comparison of all NPO densities
Members requested a copy of the most recent map(s) of
the NPO #7 area and one copy of each of the other NPO's .
Further issues discussed included the road situation in
the vicinity of Walnut and Tiedemann : a) The curve,
b) Alternatives to create traffic flow between Walnut
and Tigard, c) Roads designated as collector streets,
a situation around which the NPO has to plan .
An additional item of business : Loretto Wirthlin, who
resides at SW Walnut , Tigard, has expressed an interest
in being on the NPO #7. The members did not express
any objections to her inclusion. One vacancy exists on
NPO #7 as JoAnne Corliss ' s position was never filled.
