Subcommittee meeting on rate review form.
Present: Jerry McReynolds, Rebeckah Barrett, Fred Benz, Michael Sandburg, and
Mike Misovetz
1. Jerry McReynolds explained our situation with rate review farm.
2. Mike Sandburg indicated that Washington County has riot had a change of the
haulers which affected purchase of company .
3 . Sandburg indicated that they use a 94 percent cost of operation to start
rate review process .
4. Rate review started in 1969 - Price Waterhouse reviewed haulers' books .
First effort was costing haulers $15,000 per review.
5. Sandburg indicated that quarterly statements are supplied to County
automatically each quarter.
6. Operating ratio triggers the review.
7. County..-wide coverage for each can is $8 .30.
8. Suggestion of County--wide rate review --. evaluation system.
9. Mike Sandburg indicated that no system exists for rate review other than
can formula.
