Read more... City Council Considers the 2017-2018 Budget The City of Tigard Budget Committee approved the Fiscal Year 2017-2018 Annual Budget at its meeting on May 1. The City Council will consider adopting the budget at its business meeting on June 13. The fiscal plan focuses on shoring up eroding service levels and preparing for a community discussion on an operating levy in May 2018. Read more... Tigard Voters Approve Two Urban Renewal Measures In the May election, Tigard residents passed Measure 34-274, City Center Urban Renewal Plan Amendment, and Measure 34-275, Tigard Triangle Urban Renewal Plan Implementation. Both passed 68 percent for and 32 percent against. The 2-1 margins showed voters'confidence in ongoing redevelopment efforts in downtown and their support for future development plans in the Triangle. Read more...
