GDI Project Polygon-122-04 Prepared By: Bret Moskal
Project Name: Polygon at Bull Mountain Date: 4/12/17
_.._ . _.__..,..____..___:.__.._
Location: 15402 SW Seine Court,Tigard, Report#: 159
Oregon
Arrival: 1100 Departure: 1230
Weather: Overcast, 50's Permit#: MST2016-00025
Site Visit Requested By: Ken (Polygon) Met With (on site): Ken
Purpose: Observe lot 30 subgrade
Outstanding Issues:
Lot 30 subgrade
Upon arrival I met with Ken and was directed to area indicated on attached site plan of prepared subgrade for the
building within lot 30. I was informed that earthwork crew had placed and compacted approx. 2' to 4' of recycled
concrete on the surface of structural fill subgrade. Crew compacted recycled concrete in approx. 2' lifts utilizing a
Hoepac. Using a Troxler 3430 nuclear density gauge I tested the relative density of the material that fall underneath
footings and compared the results against a field assumed proctor value of 120.0pcf. Areas tested met our
recommendation of 95%compaction of optimum dry density value. I observed 14 to 15 blows on a%"diameter steel
pin with a 6-lbs hammer to drive pin approx. 12" in to material, indicating density compacted material.
Based on our observation, testing, and pin resistances, area observed today and indicated on attached site plan has
been prepared in general accordance with our geotechnical recommendations.
