A. Street Dedication : 88th Avenue north of Center Street by Plaza
Gardens , Inc '
1 . Mr . Thompson explained the proposed street dedication ,
2. Mr , Lewis said he felt this was strictly an apartment house
access.
3 . Mr. Nicoll asked what the Commission rale in this was Mr.
Thompson explained the Commission' s charge with street master
planning , Mr . Niaall asked Mr Thompson If this particular
road would fit into a master plan for streets in Tigard.
4 . Mr . Lewis asked if the property owners weren't just trying
to take some of their property off the tax rolls.
5, Mr . Nicoll said he might approve this if it went somewhere,
perhaps to Hall. Blvd.
6. Mr Lewis said he felt this roadway wasn' t beneficial to
the whole community.
7 . Mr . Thompson explained that the City would like control over
this roadway .
8. Mr . Paterson asked how this roadway was different from a
previous one , turned down by the Commission, Mr , Thompson
explained that Mr , Kiock ' s proposal was not a delineated road
with curbs , as is this one.

1 . Because of proposed remodeling of the City Hall Council
Chambers into Police Dept. offices, It was decided that the
regular meeting of the Tigard Planning and Zoning Commission
will be held at the Tigard Community Hall, 8841 S. W, Commer-
cial Street , Tigard , at 8 : 00 P.M, on the Third WEDNESDAY of
each month, beginning with the next meeting on July 16 , 1969.
