Upon arrival, I met with onsite crews and was directed to areas indicated on attached site plan of prepared subgrade
for building 10. I was informed that crews would place approx. 3"to 6"of crushed rock on the surface of the
subgrade. I observed the subgrade to primarily consist of silt. One area, as shown on the site plan, appeared to be
primarily rock fill. Using a W'diameter steel foundation rod I probed the exposed subgrade. Subgrade appeared to
be medium stiff and dense respectively. I observed loose rock on the surface of the rock area; we recommend this
layer to be compacted prior to pouring.
Based on our observation and testing, areas indicated on attached site plan observed today have been prepared in
general accordance with our geotechnical recommendations.
