A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN ON BEHALF OF THE CITY A
DEDICATION DEED DEDICATING ADDITIONAL RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG SW GAARDE
STREET AT SW 117TH AV.
WHEREAS, on October 23, 2001, City Council approved the acquisition of certain property, a portion of
which is needed for the SW Gaarde Street improvements; and
WHEREAS, on November 14, 2002, the City of Tigard purchased the property and now desires to convey
to the public for street purposes,the portion of the property required for the street improvements.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Tigard City Council that:
SECTION 1: The Tigard City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to sign a dedication deed
dedicating the property to the public for street purposes. A copy of the dedication deed
is attached hereto as Exhibit"1"; and incorporated herein by this reference.
Section 2 This resolution is effective immediately upon passage.

recorded in Fee No. 99025673, Washington County Deed Records; being in the
northwest quarter of Section 10, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian,
City of Tigard, Washington County Oregon. Said tract being described by metes and
bounds as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of said Fee No. 99025673 being on the existing
south right-of-way line of SW Gaarde Street(37 feet from center line); thence along the
east line of said Fee No. 99025673, South 00°05' 00"East a distance of 2.01 feet; thence
parallel with and 39 feet south(measured perpendicularly) of said existing center line,
South 89° 10' 00" West a distance of 65.17 feet to the existing south right-of-way line of
SW Gaarde Street, also being in a non-tangent curve concave southeasterly; thence along
said existing south right-of way and said curve with a radius of 25.00 feet; Delta of 23°
