PUBLIC DEDICATION OF
S.W. CENTER COURT
ITEM No. 6
This item (dedication of S.W. Center Court) was tabled
March 19, pending more information from Mr. Klock, the person dedicating
the land.
At the March 19th meeting the Commission felt that from a planning
point of view, the road in question was not particularly necessary
as a measure for public circulation. The dedication was tabled until
the Commission could speak with Mr. Klock.
City Staff recommends that the dedication be accepted only if
S.W. Center Court is brought up to City standards with curbs, sidewalks
and storm drains.

PUBLIC DEDICATION OF S .W. CENTER COURT
„mow
ITEM NO. 6
Dedication is a prodedure by which a public body accepts the right of
way, and determines the name of a proposed road. Acceptance removes
the land from private tax rolls and places the right of way under
public jurisdiction. it does not, however, procure public maintanance
of the accepted. road.
Staff recommends approval of the right of way acceptance, and
suggests the street be named S .W. Center Court.
