The City of Tigard has received a complaint that an apparent violation of
Section -.40.020 Noxious Vegetation exists on property under your control
at 14955 `;W Leslie Ct. in Tigard. Please be advised that it ick
yotir responsibility to maintain this property free of this violation. Your
cooperation in taking immediate action co prevent a violation of the municipal
code is appreciated.
For your information, the applicable code provision reads as follows:
7.40.020 Noxious Vegetatior. The owner, 1.erson in possession or agent of
the owner of any lot, tract, or parcel of land, improved or unimproved,
shall, d•�r.ing the monti►s of May, June, July, August and September of each
year, cut and remove, and keep cut and removed therefrom and tram the half
of the si:reet or streets abutting the property, all weeL's, r•hist)es,
burdock, ferns end other noxious vegetation, and all grass more than ten
inches , heipnt, and all dead bushes, dead trees, stunps and a:.y other
thing likely to cause fire.
Nothirg herein contained shall be consideree; to apply to bushes, trees,
shrubbery and/or other vegetation grown for food, fuel or ornament or for
the production of food, fuel or ornament, providing that the health and
10- safety of the public be tot thereby endangered by the maintenance of such
growth or vegetation.
