Dear Joe:
In accordance with your suggestion, we discussed the
above project with Ed Walden of Tigard. There exists
and we propose to maintain a two-hour fire separation 4-
between the H-4 occupancy (Repair Garage) and the P-2
occupancy (Office) .
You indicated to me that as long as this separation exists
and we maintain it, the construction of the office addi-
tion can be ''N construction. This letter will confirm our
discussion and a copy of it will be sent to Tigard.

Dear Mr. Koch:
Please be advised that on October 12, 1979, your request for a site plan and
architectural review of an office and a warehouse addition to the existing
Hyster Sales Office was approved by the Planning Director, City of Tigard.
It is noted that the applicant is not proposing to hire additional employees
but intends to expand the existing facilities.
Since the minimum requirement for parking space is computed on the basis of
gross area (total square footage of building(s)) and the subsequent parking
fee charged accordingly, the applicant is required to pay the necessary amount
to cover the additional square footage (nine additional parking spaces) .

Dear Sir:
On a recent survey of the above mentioned area, we found
that either weeds, tall grass, and/or other noxious vegetation
existed, which is a violation of city ordinance.
All such weeds, tall grass, and other noxious vegetation
more than ten inches in height, or anything that may be likely
to cause a fire, must be removed as defined in City of Tigard
Ordinance Title 7, Chapter 7.40, Section 7.40.020. However,
this ordinance does not pertain to bushes, trees, shrubbery,
and/or other vegetation that is grown for food, fuel or ornament,
so long as the public health and safety are not endangered by the
maintenance of such growth or vegetation.
I wish to encourage your cooperation in taking care of this
matter at your earliest convenience, whereby formal proceedings
to take care of this matter can be avoided.
