The pla-is for this project were reviewed for conformity with applicable
codes, and are conditionally approved, subject to the re-vision or other
action to clarify these items.
1. No details submitted which show installation plans for the
automatic sprinkler or mechanical systems. We acknowledge
both systems are listed In General Notes as bidder design.
2. No fastener schedule for attachment of framing members or
wall finish mate-zial. General Note 5. could be construed �
as meaning 24-inch spacing for gypsum board fasteners.
3. Water--resistant gypsum board shall be installed to 46-in.
above floor level behind all fixtures in toilet rooms. i
4. A 4-foot high wainscot complying with O.S.S.C. Sec. 510(c)
shall be installed on walls within 2 feet of water closets f
and urinals. No wall finish is indicated on the plans.
5. Toilet room base shall extand up the wall 5 inches. I`
6. Door sizes, types Nnd hardware not listed on the plans.
We note "building standard" for man door, but we have no
cnpy of any building standards for doors.
We should have a meeting to discuss how to address these Items on the
plan notes. A few additional details or notes should do the trick. f

This is a Fire and Life Safety Plan Review and is based on the
1988 editions of the Fire and Life Safety Code (UBC) , Mechanical
Fire and Life Safety Code (UMC) , Uniform Fire Code (UFC) , and
other local ordinances and regulations.
