DECISION: Notice is hereby given that the Planning Director for the City of
Tigard has APPROVED the above application subject to certain conditions. The
findings and conclusions or) which the Director based his decision are as noted
below.
A. FINDING OF FACT
1. Background
A Temporary Use permit was approved for the same site in 1984 to
benefit the same organization. all conditions of the permit
app-oval were met.
2. Vicinity Information
Residential development and va-.:ant land within the City of
Beaverton is situated on the north side of S:hulls Ferry Road.
Undeveloped land zoned C—P (Commcrcial Professional) lies to the
west and commercial developments related to the shopping center
are situated between the subject property and 121st Avenue to the
east. Residentially zoned land (11-20) is south of the shopping
center. Multi family units are under construction on that parcel
at this time.
3 . Site Information and Proposal. Description
The applicant wishes to establish a temporary booth for the sale
of fireworks . The proceeds are to bF used to raise funds for the
New Life United Pentecostal Church. The booth is proposed to !-e
open from June 26th through July 6th. It will be located in the
north end of the parking lot serving Ttiriftway, Century Drugs, and
Baskin Robbins .
