our verbal conversation of Monday, December 14, 1981, Milwaukie
Plumbing Company will, be making the necessary repairs.
Milwatkie Plumbing Company has contacted their insurance company
and instructed them to take the necessary action to insure that
all repairs are made prompt�v and satisfactorily.
7 will be in contact with you when repairs ha--e been completed so
you can close your file.

By request of Mr. Dean Watan,rtbe, owner of referenced residence
we made an inspection of a moisture problem he haj in his bath
room tha a-g---er sho,,,er.,-"-
Ful owing are our findings :
1) A c( nsiderable amount of water seepage on bathroom floor.
2 ( Since this has Leen occurring for a long time (probably
since the house was occupied) the floor area below shower pan
,and in front of shower, has been damaged and may have decayed
area.
3) An inspection in the crawl space revealed that the seal
between the shower drain in the shower floor and the
waste line was leaking causing flooding of floor area
in bai_':room and the crawl space below.
Cor.re.7tion recommended:
1) the shower pan be removed and all damaged floor b(--
replaced to prevent future dtv rot.
2,�that the shower pan be re-installed properly and
proper connection made to soil line, and all required
sealing and waterproofing be placed to effect a
water tight seal of ceramic tile and shower pan.
Since this error in installation apparently oc-L ed when the
shower was installed during the construction of he dwelling,
we would appreciate your ina,nediate attention t. this matter.

By request of. Mr. Dean Watanabe, owner of referenced residence
