Building '"/S O Fir Loop Road Dear Sirs We have inspected the framing of the above building, paying particular attention to the splicing of the top plates of -the sti:d walls. The latest inspection was on the afternoon of May 299 1981. Our observations and opinions are as follows: VERTICAL LOAD FRAMING Joists, beams and columns all appeared to be satisfactorily constructed and in accord with the design drawings. The main entry stairway, and the deck at the East were not yet installed. LATERAL LOAD FRAMING Floor and roof diaphragms and shearwalls appear to he satisfactory. The top chords of the studwalls were originally constructed without continuity at the corners of the building. Simpson MST 48 tie straps were initially installed to splice the corners, but only 511 inches lapped the front and rear walls.
