RE: Morning Hill Subdivision, Soils Investigation
at Lot #41 , 13145 S.W. Falcon Rise Drive

On February 4 , 1983 and February 5, 1983, an investiga-
tion was made to determine the characteristics of the
soils at the rear of the subject lot, immediately adja-
cent to the p.•_•eviously poured concrete footings.. The
soils were found to be relatively loose in the upper.
layers.
To ensure adequate soil bearing, additional footings
to film bearing at the depths noted in the attached
plan are necessary. An allowable bearing pressure or
1200 psf. was used to develop the noted footing sizes.
No reinforcing steel is required in the new footings.
Two #4 grade 40 reinforcing bars are to be placed at
the top and bottom of t',e foundation wall as shown on
sheet #2 attached.
The remaining sites along Falcon Rise Drive will be
reviewed as further test data from Carlson Testing
Laboratories is obtained and the structure location
on each site is better known.
Please call us if additional information is necessary
at this time.
