OREGON ME D-2636 The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Tigard } proposes, through their initiation of a zone chance to .-e-zone the area on the enclosed map to Zone C-2 (Ceneral. Commercial) . To accomplish this, they have first made a comprehensive study of the properties involved from the stand-point of land use and the general present occupancy as to construction and use of buildinas now erected. The major portion of this area is of commercial designation and to be compatible with such land use it is believed the best interests of the properties will be served if they are developed under the zone classification of "Commercial" . You will note from the enclosed copy of map the area in- volved and those properties directly affected by the chance in zoning. The present zoning is R-5 - Residential . In order to initiate this zone chance we have, in addition to the property owners in this area, also notified those owners within the boundary limits as required by the ZonincY Ordinance of the City of Tioard. A public heari.no will be held by the Flannina and Zoning Commission in the City Hall, 12420 S.W. Main Street, Tioard, at 7 : 30 P.M. , October 15, 1964. You may either present your views in wri.tina to be received by the Commission on or before October 15th or you may be present at this meeting. Whether or not you have any objectio<:s to this zone change we would appreciate your presence at the meeting .
