APPLICATION: A request by Dr. Peter Blake for a Home Occupation Permit for an
office to evaluate computer programs in the home on the property zoned R-4.5
located at 11315 SW Willow W00(1 Court (Wash. Cc. Tax Map iSl 34AC Tax Lot
261u).
DECISION: Notice is hereby given that the Planning Director for the City of
Tigard has APPROVED the above application subject to certain c ,nditions. The
findings and conclusions on which the Director based his decision are as noted
below.
A. FINDINGS OF FACT
I. Background
No previous applications have been reviewed by the Planning
Depar;:ment on this property.
2. Vicinity Information
The subject property is surrounded by parcels that are zoned R-4.5
(residential).
3. Site Information and Proposal Description
There is a 1,350 square foot home on the property. The applicant
is proposing to use 500 square feet for the business. The
applicant will occupy the remainder of the home. The business
should he limited to 25% of Lhe home or 337 square feet.
4. Agency and NPO Comments
None
B. ANALYSIS AND CONCLUSION
The proposal appears to be in conformance with the provisions set forth
In Chapter 18.142 of th � Tigard Municipal Code.
C'. DECISION
Home Occupation Permit HOP 7-84 is approved subject to the following
conditions:
1. The square footage of the home used for the business shall 1-
limited to 337 square feet of the home.

2. There shall be no people employed at the home who are not
residents of the home.
3. There shall be no signs or a-%ertising visible from the exterior
of the premises.
4. There shall be no customers or clients coming to the residence in
conjunction with the business.
5. The Home Occupancy Permit shall be renewed annually.
F. A Business Tax shall be obtained for the premises.
D. PROCEDURE
1. Notice: Notice was published in the newspaper, posted at City
Hall and mailed to:

with Section 18.32.290(A) and Section 18.32.370 of the Community
Development Code which provides that a written appeal may be filed
within 10 days after notice is given and sent.
The deadline for filing of an appeal is Aug. 27, 1984
