The Agency could not support: approval of a pump station for
development of chis property when gravity sewer service is on 700
feet away. If acquisition of easements is a problem, then the
Agency would be willing to construct the necessary sewer line and
obta_n the easements if the developer is willing to pay all the
costs. Additionally, this gravity line solution is und-lubtedly
more economical. than a public pump station alternative.

STATEMENT OF SEWER SERVICE AVAIL!1BILITY
This statement is supplied at the request of Greg Berry
dated 7/26/91 The property hereinafter re erre to is�escriF�below. —
1. The Unified Sewerage Agency has authority to and will supply sanitary sewer
service to the property subject to compliance by the property owner, his agents and
employees with all applicable rules, regulations and laws related to sanitary sewer
service. If construction of sewer lines Is necessary, such construction will be the
responsibility of the property owner except to the extent that the .Agency may agree to
participate in the cost.
2. Treatment plant capacity adequate for the proposed use of the property ( is)

year following the date of this statement. If adequate capacity is not and/or will
not be available during the ensuing year, future capacity is projected as follows:

the responsibility of the property owner. If the property is in a city that has
irimediate control of local collection sewer lines, no line information ;s availabl^
from the Agency. If an adequate sanitary sewer line( s) is not available, the nearest

served in the following manoer :
The Agency does not have .any public lines in this area. The nearest lines are City
of Tigard lines. Connection to these lines will require approval from the Cicy
of Tigard.
4. The property -(•--i-s-) ( is not) presently connected to a public sewer.
5. Additional remarks: As stated in a letter from the City of Tigard dated
7/24/91 , public lines to serve this property by gravity is locaLed 700 feet east of
the lot. For this reason, the Agency would not approve a Fump station for develop-
ment of the property.
The foregoing statement is furnished to the person requesting it with the
understanding that it is based in part on ESTIMATES AND PROJECTIONS and DOES NOT
CONSTITUTE A GUARANTEE OR COMMITMENT that adequate sewer service will be available for
the property at any specific time. It does not relieve the said person from resolving
required land use issucl. Prior to connection to the sewer, a Connection Permit from
1nified Sewerage Agen,;y or 111r city mu_t be obtained and fees paid.
